ANZAC Day 2013

ANZAC Day goes beyond the anniversary of the landing on Gallipoli in 1915. It is the day we remember all Australians who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. The spirit of ANZAC, with its human qualities of courage, mateship, and sacrifice, continues to have meaning and relevance for our sense of national identity. On ANZAC day, ceremonies that are held in towns and cities across the nation to acknowledge the service of our veterans.

The ANZAC Day commemerative service will be held at the Clock Tower, Narooma on 25th April 2013.

Narooma Oyster Festival 2013

Date: 4th & 5th May 2013
Venue: Riverside Drive, Narooma

Narooma is the place to be this May as a stellar line up of chefs join in the Narooma Oyster Festival Celebrations.

The Narooma Oyster Festival is not just about food with live music, a giant aquarium, sporting challenges, complimentary tastings, art and photography shows and a big selection of children’s amusements promising a jam packed weekend on the South Coast.

Help us support the Cancer Councils "Australias Biggest Morning Tea"

Ok, boys and girls.... Our team at BIG4 Easts Batemans Bay will be holding the 2013 Australia's Biggest Morning Tea Batemans Bay Style on Wednesday 29th May in our Camp Kitchen from 10am - 12 noon so head on over and join them with your gold coin donation!

They will also be running a fantastic raffle on the day for those who go and join them at the Camp Kitchen as well as 5 great holidays that ANYONE can win! So, if you want to be in it to win it but aren't going to be staying with us....you can still be in the running by giving them a call on 1800 132 787  and they can organise your tickets over the phone.

The efforts in 2012 raised an astonishing $1,115.00 for a fantastic cause! Lets see what we can do to break that this year!

Winter Wine Festival 2013

A little while a way, but lets get planning.....Winter Wine Festival, 2013 June Longweekend. Buy a festival glass and enjoy free wine tasting at participating wineries all weekend or join the hop -on-hop-off bus. Wineries from Bawley Point to Gerringong Participating.

Mogo Learning Centre

Did you know you can now attend the MOGO ZOOm Learning Centre, this is  a complete learning centre for everyone interested in digital photography. Courses for beginners right through to the proffessional level.

The course run at Mogo Zoo is by nature photographer and professional educator June Anderson.
